What you should do
When a material loss claim occurs to property caused by events such as:
- Malicious Damage
- Impact by vehicle and other objects
- Breakage - accidental damage
You Need to:
Take all necessary steps to protect your property. Call the Fire Department, Ambulance, SES & Police. If accident occurs during business hours, take all steps to evacuate all people at the situation. Providing there is no dangers, ensure the safe removal of undamaged goods and company records
Have a Security Company secure the situation and if necessary employ an overnight security guard
Report the incident to Guardian Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd , whenever practicable, but within 24 hours.

Lodgement of a Claim
Claims vary from minor to major losses and insurance companies have various methods of reporting.
Claims can be registered and instructions given in relation to where to have the vehicle towed or where to obtain a quote and have the vehicle assessed if necessary.
Please have certain information on hand to assist in this process. If you are registered for GST please provide your ABN and your ITC percentage. If you are reporting a motor vehicle accident please have the following details: age, license number of the driver or person in charge of the vehicle.
